What I do

I am the project coordinator of Fashioning an Ethical Industry an education project of Labour Behind the Label that rovide fashion college students and tutors with an overview of working conditions in the garment industry, raise awareness of current company practices and initiatives to improve conditions and equip students to play an active role in raising standards in the supply chains of the companies they will working for in the future.

Have you been involved with film in your work? If so, how and what was your role?

We use films such as China Blue and Blood Sweat and T-shirts in our workshops with fashion students and tutors.

How would you like to work with film in future?

Film is a power media for engaging young people such as fashion students and we would be open to any ideas that supported our campaigning and education work.
