GOOD PERSON

What I do

I am the main contact at the charity Media Trust for directors of campaigning documentaries and my role varies depending on the project. Through Community Channel (which we own and operate) we can support your outreach campaign or help to put additional supporting material on our website.

Have you been involved with film in your work? If so, how and what was your role?

I have been an Executive Producer on a wide range of projects.

How would you like to work with film in future?

I'd like to make Media Trust and Community Channel one of the first ports of call for documentary campaigns to be developed and supported and I'd like to do more executive producing.

3 things you've worked on that have done real good in the world

1. 'Take Each Day' (for Breast Cancer Care) in which women with secondary breast cancer get a rare chance to talk about dying.

2. The 'Mad for...' series for Channel five that gave people with experience of mental health problems a platform to talk about art (and music, poetry and dance) and how it helped them through.

3. 'Abnormally Funny People' - in which five stand-up comedians with various disabilities take a groundbreaking show to Edinburgh and which asks the most important question of all: 'Are they funny?'
(They are.)
