GOOD PERSON

What I do

I create communications and films that connect audiences synergistically while making them aware of the issues so they can take a step forward toward action.

Have you been involved with film in your work? If so, how and what was your role?

I have been involved with film as a producer and collaborator for over 20 years.

How would you like to work with film in future?

In the future I would like to tell stories that connect and resonate with audiences to move them to action.

3 things you've worked on that have done real good in the world

1. PLANTING TREES WORLDWIDE -- Focusing on millions of trees being planted on devastated coal-mined land in Appalachia; improving habitats, environmental health and bringing dignity to people in the U.S.
2. WORK ON MARINE PROTECTED ARES -- Collaborating with a coalition of organizations with the mutual goal of teaching the public and stakeholders throughout California, and worldwide, about the benefits of setting up a Network of Marine Protected Areas.
3. PRESIDENTIAL CLIMATE ACTION PLAN -- Working with a team of leading Americans to create a list of top priorities for the President to take action and make steps towards offsetting the negative effects of climate change.

Bag It -- by Susan Beraza My Father, the Captain --by Jean-Michel Cousteau Queen of the Mantas -- by Andrea Marshall
Who or what has changed the world the most in your lifetime?
A message from Jacques Cousteau over thirty years ago -- "People protect what they love." Having some humor in the midst of degradation and collapse.
Which issue keeps you up at night?
Plastic, plastic EVERYWHERE. Radical loss of biodiversity. The slow pace of major governments to commit to reduction of greenhouse gasses.
