I'm Head of Digital at Compassion in World Farming.
Working closely with the Public Affairs Director, Media Director and Marketing Director, I'm interested in advancing our cause and our profile by involvement with documentary film-makers.
I have overall responsibility for our web channel which is light on film content but an area of focus for us in the future. I have scripted and edited several (very) short films.
Liaising between professional film-makers and the relevant teams here to help facilitate both broadcast quality documentary and exciting content for our web channel.
Compassion in World Farming works widely with the broadcast media to drive a global movement against factory farming. We specialise in providing footage of, and access to, those who can tell a compelling story of the impact of factory farming on animals, people and planet.
I created the website for Compassion's Good Egg Awards which directly benefit some 25 million laying hens every year by allowing them to live a cage-free life.
My work on ChickenOut.tv with Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall raised public awareness of the plight of meat chickens and had a real impact on the short lives of hundreds of millions of chickens.
I recently marched through London as one of 35 David Cameron Clones to both raise awareness and apply pressure to ban the cloning of animals for food; I filmed the event for a video log as well as taking a starring role inside the gates of Downing Street.
