About my company

Rare Day was set up by Peter Dale and Emily Renshaw-Smith in 2008, after their time at Channel 4 in charge of commissioning documentaries. Rare Day produces documentaries and dramas, for television and cinema. By developing partnerships beyond the world of broadcasting, Rare Day promotes new models of funding and distribution.
So, as well as producing programmes for Channel 4 and the BBC, the company is developing a wider set of relationships across public, corporate and private production. The company%u2019s mission is to bring quality and innovation to a wide arena of production, while nurturing talent and teamwork.
