The Atlantic Philanthropies are dedicated to bringing about lasting changes in the lives of disadvantaged and vulnerable people. Together with our grantees, we endeavour to make lasting changes for people who are disadvantaged by their economic situation, race, nationality, gender, age, disabilities, immigration status, sexual orientation, political affiliation or religion.

Media Strategy...

Currently, film is a vehicle used by many of our grantees within the context of their programmes. The Atlantic Philanthropies does not regularly fund film projects. Rather, many of the organisations we fund have used film – particularly documentary – as an important communications tool in their efforts.
