Vision, Mission & Values

Merlin specialises in health, saving lives in times of crisis and helping to rebuild shattered health services. From Afghanistan to Zimbabwe, we work exclusively in countries caught up in, or emerging from, crisis. Training and supporting health workers is central to everything we do, from grassroots on-the-job supervision to running national training schools for midwives. This way, we create lasting change, helping the world's most vulnerable people access affordable and appropriate care.

To raise awareness of just how much can be achieved in even the most challenging countries. To promote people's understanding that health care - and a strong health system - is central to a country's development. To creatively capture life as a health worker in crisis countries.
