Media Strategy...

Our media strategy, especially in regard to using film focuses on our Beyond Factory Farming campaign. Factory farming is the biggest cause of animal suffering in the world today. Globally we rear around 60 billion animals a year, mostly in factory farms. Cheap meat conceals the real costs to animals, people and planet. Health & Disease: Over-consumption of meat fuels the obesity crisis and increases risks of heart disease and certain cancers. Environment: Waste from factory farms pollutes soil, rivers and seas. Climate Change: Animal agriculture produces 18% of global greenhouse gas emissions from human activity – more than transport. Feeding the World: 60% of global maize and barley and 90% of soya are used for animal feed, while hundreds of millions of people go hungry. Poverty: Intensive factory farming leads to rural unemployment and puts small farmers out of business.
