About the Film
We follow Guatemala's Attorney-General, Claudia Paz y Paz, and her colleagues from the Public Prosecutor's Office in their fight against impunity in what is considered one of the most violent countries of the world. While organized crime and daily violence dominate the news' headlines, the crimes of the civil war have remained unpunished.
Claudia obtains spectacular results: the percentage of solved cases is improving, major arrests against organized crime are taking place and former generals are finally standing trial for genocide. However, her position becomes vulnerable when former general P?rez Molina wins the presidential election. In this film, we follow Claudia closely and get to know her extraordinary capacity and will to change Guatemala. Will she succeed in her fight against violence and impunity?
